Be A Success  
The idea for this booklet came to Davis when she came home after a long day. The sweet voice of Jesus whispered, “Be A Success.” She thought to herself, “What does this mean?” Then she made a poster and put “Be A Success” on her wall. As time passed, God showed her what she was to do with the words, “Be A Success.” Ella commented, “Sometimes God gives you bits and pieces of what you are to do in life and fills in the space as time passes.”

This book is for any adult ages 18 to 65 plus. A number of professional people can use the book as well, including educators, law enforcement, media, church groups, health care and social service professionals. It provides information about all of the phases of adult development beginning with leaving home to retirement.

Included in the book are five biographies of successful people from the area where she resides. Ella feels blessed for the opportunity to have written the biographies of the people included in this booklet. The biographies include people from Louisiana; however, she believes we should look around at the many successful people that surround us. She feels that if we get the opportunity, we should talk to those people about their life experiences.

Along with being a great source for obtaining information about adult development, this is the only book of its kind that allows you to create a personalized photo album of your accomplishments. This personalized photo album can be passed from generation to generation. It can be considered a keepsake for the family.

Ella indicated that many times accomplishments come after trials; however, students and adults should try to accomplish their goals. She commented, “Be assured that though every triumph or trial, God is shaping you to be what He wants you to be. Fulfilling God’s will for your life is truly the greatest thing you can do.”

Finally, Ella stated, “This booklet was written so that students and adult learners would be aware that at certain ages in their lives, they should try to accomplish various tasks by seeking the help of the Lord for future happiness.” Ms. Davis added, “When you walk across the stage at graduation or decide to leave home to be on your own, you will have a guide to Be A Success and glorify God.”
